The Performing Arts class at my school (taught by Angie Tieman) just recently put on two productions of "The Moustache" by Davis Alianiello. I played the main role, Phil Stevenson. We practiced for months, and put a lot of time and effort into this play. We were all really happy with the way it turned out. Everyone- the actors, directors, stage crew, makeup artists, etc.- did so well! I had so much fun performing in this play!
Play summary:
In order to improve his confidence and boost his public image, mild-mannered Chancellor Phil Stevenson decides to grow a moustache. The idea is wildly successful until Phil's moustache begins talking to him. What follows is a darkly satirical tale of corruption, with the previously meek Phil becoming a power-hungry fiend under the direction and guidance of his Machiavellian moustache. (Playscrips, Inc.)
